LET US HELP YOUR CHARITY

Individuals looking for auction items for your charity of choice: Please submit your request on the Letterhead of the Charity for which you are requesting help. The request must include the Name of the Event, the date it will take place, and the purpose of the event. Also include the Tax ID # for the organization and a Contact person's name and telephone number.

Please submit your request at least 90 days prior to the event.

GRANT REQUEST GUIDELINES

Information Required for a Grant Request Submission

  • Grant request must come from a 501c(3) organization in operation for at least 5 years from date of request and in good standing. A copy of the acceptance letter from the IRS is required to be submitted along with your grant request.
  • Organization receiving grant is a charitable cause for children and based in the United States.
  • Official request must be on organizational letterhead and clearly state purpose of grant if grant request is not a blank donation, ie. funding for a specific program or fundraiser, etc. Letter must contain contact name and information for the requesting organization.
  • Grant request must be submitted at least six months in advance of annual disbursement periods from the Roger Clemens Foundation which is at fiscal year-end.
  • Any requests received after January 1st will not be considered until the next fiscal year.

Monetary grants are disbursed at fiscal year-end and vary from year-to-year based on the amount of donations made to the Roger Clemens Foundation. The Roger Clemens Foundation is a 501c(3) organization that relies on the donations from its supporters as well as the sales of memorabilia to fund their support to children's charities.

BATTING PRACTICE OFF THE "ROCKET"

Clinics include:

  • 12-15 participants (ages 7 - 18) or your business team or partners for 1 hour.
  • Enjoy food and drinks while doing so
  • $20,000 minimum bid

Note: ½ of the dollars raised goes to your charity, the other ½ goes to the ROGER CLEMENS FOUNDATION. Don't crowd the plate! Charity or charity auction winner pays out of their half to fly Mr. Clemens to and from Batting Practice location, if located outside of Houston, Texas.

GOLF WITH PITCHING GREAT ROGER CLEMENS

An off the chart experience. A round of golf with the "Rocket". Includes the following:

 

  • 3 Golfers (or Hackers -- aren't we all)
  • You can come to Houston and play it at one of Rocket's favorite courses, or he will fly to your home town and golf with you at your place of choice.
  • Eat lunch afterwards, and Rocket will sign 4 items for each player and take photos.
  • $20,000 minimum bid
